EC35 EV van launched in Malaysia, price starting RM130k, 35 minutes to charge.

It only takes 35 minutes to charge the EC35 electric van battery using a 40kW DC fast charger or between 6 to 7 hours (6kW AC fast charger.

That is one of the advantages of electric vans produced by Dongfeng Sokon Automobile (DFSK) for the Malaysian market with a selling price of RM130,000 per unit which was launched 24 May 2022.

It comes with several modern safety features, including an air pressure monitoring system in the tires as well as a pedestrian warning.

The EV van also offered in two configurations, namely two and five seats. It is capable of carrying a load of up to 1,090 kilograms (kg) which is comparable to a petrol or diesel powered van.

Meanwhile, DFSK General Manager, Zhang Xingyan said, the introduction of EC35 to the Malaysian market aims to promote electric vehicles and green technology in the country.

“It will provide a better experience for electric vehicle users as well as greater economic benefits to customers in Malaysia,” he said in a video recording.

He said the EC35 electric van was the best -selling logistics electric van in China last year due to the features available on the machine such as ample cargo space and competitive price.
